I am haunted by previous generations. Their labor, essential and anonymous, exist now only in scraps. I collect abandoned bits of other lives: photos, old letters, tools, toys. Their images speak of experience. I want overlay memory with the current moment. I want my work to sing to the viewer, through color, texture, and pattern, of the moments we live as we move through time.
